ABOUT US
What the Mylie and Maddie Foundation Will Achieve
The Mylie and Maddie Foundation was established to support fathers and families who have been torn apart by a family court system that too often fails to deliver fairness, balance, and timely justice.
For many fathers, the experience is devastating. Years of legal battles. Tens of thousands of pounds in legal fees. Financial ruin. Serious mental health struggles. Countless months and sometimes years spent separated from the children they love.
We believe children deserve meaningful relationships with both parents wherever it is safe and appropriate. We also believe that every allegation must be taken seriously, but that decisions affecting a child’s future should be based on evidence, fairness, and due process.
Our mission is not to diminish the importance of mothers, nor to defend parents who pose a genuine risk to their children. There are bad fathers, just as there are bad mothers. Protecting children must always remain the highest priority.
However, we believe the current system often places enormous burdens on fathers seeking to maintain relationships with their children. Delays, excessive costs, and unproven allegations can result in children being separated from loving parents for extended periods of time, causing lasting damage to both parent and child.
The Mylie and Maddie Foundation exists to provide support, advocacy, guidance, and a voice for those who feel unheard. We will work to raise awareness of the challenges many fathers face, campaign for fairer and more efficient family court processes, support mental health and wellbeing, and help families navigate some of the most difficult periods of their lives.
Most importantly, we will champion the principle that children benefit from the love, care, and involvement of both parents whenever it is safe and in their best interests.
This is not a battle between mothers and fathers.
It is a fight for fairness, for accountability, and for the right of every child to have the opportunity to maintain meaningful relationships with both parents.
That is what the
Mylie and Maddie Foundation will achieve.
